About Us

The Alliance Family
What Unites Us and Sets Us Apart

The Casper Alliance Church is a Christ-centered church who cares about people, about families, and about discipleship. Our motto, "Building Passionate Followers of Christ," saturates everything we do. Our worship style is contemporary and casual. We value relevant Bible teaching, Spirit-inspired worship, genuine community and practical ministry.

We are "Christian" because we believe and follow Jesus Christ and Savior and Lord.
We are "Missionary" because we are committed to reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
We are an "Alliance" because we are a gathering of evangelical believers who believe in the absolute trust-worthiness of the inspired Word of God, the Bible.

What is the Christian and Missionary Alliance? (C&MA)

People embracing Christ

People Serving Christ

People Worshiping Christ

Our Passion - The Great Commission

Jesus commissioned His followers to Go and Make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). This command expresses the heart of the Father to reconcile lost people to Himself.

Captured by Jesus’ love for us, we desire others to enjoy the same genuine relationship with Christ.

Our driving passion-why we exist-is to know Christ and complete His Commission. This compels us to reach our own communities with the good news of Jesus.

For the Alliance family it doesn’t stop in our own cities. With ministries in seventy-five countries, reaching the lost is a cause for which we are willing to go, quite literally, to the ends of the earth.

Our Calling - The Greatest Commandment

Jesus instructed His followers to Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and to Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39).

Love is not optional for Christians. We who have experienced the great love of the Father must share His love with others.

Following the lead of our founder, Dr. A.B. Simpson, the C&MA is caring for the refugee, the sick, and the lost through relief work, clinics, schools, and other acts of compassion. This often gives us opportunity to share the message of Christ’s saving love. We make it a priority to establish churches so that those who come to Christ will have the support and discipleship of a church family.

Love in action-word matched by deed-this is the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Our Family - Diverse and United

If you were to visit ten Christian and Missionary Alliance churches across the country (or around the world), you would find each one refreshingly distinct. Diverse ethnicities and worship styles characterize our movement. In a unique way our diversity serves to unite the Alliance family as we choose to focus on Christ and matters of eternal significance.

We agree on the basic tenets of Christianity and are thoroughly grounded in Gods’ Word, preferring not to split hairs over endlessly debatable issues. We celebrate our multifaceted movement as an expression of God’s wonderfully creative nature.

Doctrinal Differences

Recognizing differences of opinion on non-essential matters of interpretation and teaching, we encourage Christian forbearance in such. On any doctrine not contained in the Statement of Faith, we are not committed as a church, and we attempt to individually hold the truth in love.

Christian Conduct

At Casper Alliance Church, we believe that every Christian ought to live a pure and godly life, wholly given to the glory of God and the service of men.

The Word of God instructs us to "put off" the works of darkness. At the same time, we are admonished to "put on" the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, we encourage conduct that is consistent with the person of our Lord Jesus Christ and that enhances our testimony for Him. It is desired that the members of Casper Alliance Church be people whose lives demonstrate the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Church Ordinances

Baptism
We practice baptism by immersion since this is the biblical method. Although baptism is not required for membership, we earnestly encourage all believers to be baptized in obedience to the command of Christ.

The Lord's Supper
This ordinance is observed each month, usually on the first Sunday, and is open to all born-again believers.

Church Practices

Dedication of Children
While we do not recognize it as an ordinance of the church, we do encourage parents who have committed their lives to Christ to bring their young children to the Lord in an act of dedication. Dedication involves the giving over of the child to God for His care and protection as well as the realization of all the potential of the young life to the glory of God. It also involves the promise of the parents to weave around the child the influences of a Christian home in order that the child might ultimately be brought to a saving knowledge of Christ and into a place of Christian maturity.
